I created an illustration for the retail company Aday.

It all started when…

I saw a post from Aday on their Instagram account calling for submissions for a project they were working on for International Women's Day 2018 (IWD). They asked for illustrations that depicted various empowering quotes. They planned to put the illustrations on postcards and sell them with each order made on IWD. All proceeds that day went to the Malala Fund. 

I used the slogan "Females Are Strong As Hell". This concept stems from the idea that something seemingly small and frail, could actually be strong, bold, and rooted in its beliefs. Their looks do not define them. They can be beautiful and also be strong as hell.
