In March of 2018, Columbus Product Club hosted ProductCamp Columbus, an unconference that brought together innovators, product managers, marketers, designers, CXO's, founders, engineers, and researchers together. The attendees organized, structured, and lead the conference as it occurred, as the topics were not predetermined.

Strategy

When designing the branding for the unconference, I needed to consider certain constraints, such as including the gear and horizontal design from the national organization that created this event. I incorporated concepts that defined Columbus, as this was the first time this event took place in this city. These were explored with the colors and star from the Columbus and Ohio flags, as well as the outline of the city skyline.

Brand Asset

I created several different assets for the unconference, including a countdown, description of the event, floormap for the venue, and content for their social media pages. I wanted to create clear, cohesive, and easily legible assets, as some were printed as signage for the event.
